"Through all the rain we had this year, we never had a drop of it in the
basement. Our experience with Woodmaster has been 100% positive. The crew was
fast, efficient and professional, the finished product is very livable, and the price was
competitive with block. We think this is the only way to go." Don
Domonoske: Waterville, MN |
 |
"At first we were very skeptical and hesitant. Now after more than 20
years in our home we still feel it was the best decision we could have made."
Lyle Blair: Paton, IA |
 |
"No matter how much more a wood foundation was versus a poured foundation,
it was well worth the extra cost. Even on cold winter days, the basement is warm and
there is only one heat duct open. The lower level is more comfortable than the
second level. We just love it, and would not consider any other system than yours if
we build again." Craig & Leslie Stephens: Norwalk, IA |
 |
"There has been no dampness or mustiness with the wood like we experienced
with block. We not only have more square feet, but it's costing us less because the
walls are ready for electrical, plumbing and sheetrock." Bob Reid:
Cottage Grove, MN |
 |
"The living space in our
basement is dry and maintenance free. I was most impressed with the
fact that my foundation walls were level within 1/8" across a span of
105' and every corner was square. My experience with your company was
the best of any I had during the construction of my house." Jim
Willcutt: Mississippi |
 |
"My
builder was especially pleased with the accuracy of final dimensions and how
"true" the foundation was for capping. This was his first
wood foundation and he found he had little or no adjustment to make versus
his usual conventional concrete foundations." Steve Wilson:
River Falls, WI |
 |
"People who come to our
home are truly amazed at the cozy and comfortable felling of the living
space in the lower level. We are happy to report that we had no
problems with water in the lower level after getting lots of rainfall last
year! Many of our neighbors experienced flooded basements that ruined
carpet and furniture." Bill & Rose Scheremet: Webster,
MN |
 |
"From a customer
perspective, your company rates at the high end for customer
satisfaction. I have encountered different problems with almost all my
subcontractors in some way or another. Your company, along with one
other contractor, have been my only smooth flow in the construction
process. With all the rain that's been falling recently (and since the
foundation was built) not a drop has found its way into our
home." J. Uldrych: River Falls, WI |
 |
"After the foundation
and home were completed, I wanted to test just how much moisture or dampness
there might be in the basement over a long period of time. To do this,
I surface ground eight pieces of cold rolled steel to remove all oils and
surface containments from the steel, leaving a surface that would be very
prone to rust if moisture were present in the basement. I am very
pleased to report to you that after SEVEN years in the basement there is no
sign of rust on any of the pieces of steel." Robert
Scoville: New Richmond, WI |
 |
We are appreciative of the
excellent work that was completed by Woodmaster. The framers confirmed
that the house was square within 1/4". The basement is just like
the upstairs in our home. It is warm, dry and comfortable."
Bruce Zoeller: Louisville, KY |
 |
"The foundation is dry
and comfortable. There has not been one drop of moisture in the lower
level." Bob & Toots Ostrich: Nevada, IA |
 |
"The first spring and
summer we spent in our house was the wettest summer in the history of this
area. Every day as the rains fell we fearfully journeyed to the
basement to see if this was the day that the water would be seeping in, and
every day it was bone dry. Not only has it remained dry, it has never
been damp or musty smelling as concrete basements seem to get."
Thanks again for an excellent product and great service." Thomas
& Patricia Smith: Callaway, NE |
 |
"In 1986 we switched from building PWFs
on site with our crews to using the panelized system from Woodmaster
Foundations, Inc. Using their system gave us additional quality
control and timesavings. I would be happy to serve as a reference to
any builder or homebuyer that has questions about using a Permanent Wood
Foundation. It's been a tremendous asset for Pratt Homes."
Lowell Pratt: White Bear Lake, MN |
 |
"I deeply appreciate the cooperation,
attitude, friendliness and workmanship shown by everyone we met from
Woodmaster. Being a general contractor has its challenges, but never
have I experienced a major subcontractor that met all its scheduled
milestones and commitments. I learned very quickly that your crews
would be on site at their appointed times." Bill Gorham:
Roberts, WI |
 |
"I want to take this opportunity to let
you know what a pleasure it is to offer our customers a dry comfortable
alternative to a damp cold basement. A Woodmaster Foundation System is
perfect. Most people building log homes these days intend to use the
basement level for some sort of living space. It only makes sense to
use a foundation that is guaranteed dry therefore warmer and more
comfortable. Woodmaster Foundations are a great value."
Marty Kulak: Hager City, WI |
 |
"It is rare to find a company that
consistently performs to such high standard of service and customer
satisfaction. I highly recommend Woodmaster Foundations every chance I
get, and value the commitment that your company provides with every
foundation you install." Scott Stroud, Jim Barna Log
Systems: Oneida, TN |

Wood rules! Your Woodmaster Foundation
is quality all the way. We have seen other wood foundations, yours is
surpassed by none. There is no doubt in our minds your wood foundation
will hold our Barna Log Home high and dry for generations to
come." Teri & Leo Jeczen, Barna Log Homes: Algonac, MI |
 |
"We enjoy the comfort of a warm, dry,
walk out basement. Down there we have a storage room, where we know
nothing will get musty, a bathroom, a shop for wood working and a large
family room. We recommend Woodmaster Foundations to everyone who comes
to see our model log home. We are convinced it is the only way to have
a basement." Larry & Jane Buysman, Wilderness Log
Homes: Sibley, IA |
 |
"Nancy and I just wanted to thank you
for helping us make the right decision about the foundation for our new home
here in Marshalltown. We are totally sold on the Woodmaster Foundation
and wood basement floor system. They really work." Jake
& Nancy Rockman, Distinctive Homes: Marshalltown, IA |
 |
"Woodmaster Foundations are the best there are. If you have them, then
you don't ever need to worry. Their Permanent Wood Foundation System is perfect
because you have no moisture, no heating or cooling loss and instant living space.
Cement construction encourages water to come into your building." Lawrence
Morrical, structural inspector: Lake County, IL |
 |
"After working on the
carpentry on this building I have been praising your foundation, not just
for the inherent advantages of wood foundations, but also the high quality
of your workmanship. This is without a doubt the finest foundation I
have ever built on. I rarely praise any subcontractor and never before
with the unqualified vigor I have been praising your work. You guys
make this building and my company look good." Sam Frangos:
Grayslake, IL |
 |
"It has been our experience that homes
with wood basements have not had a negative impact on the value of the
home. People that have had wood basements will build their next home
with a wood basement." Harold Mackenthun, Results
Marketing: Apple Valley, MN |
 |
"It has been my experience that a
professionally installed wood foundation creates a more comfortable lower
level, thus adding value to the home. I have a Woodmaster Foundation
System (with a wood basement floor) under my own home, and I can't imagine
building another home without it." Frank Mayzlik, Coldwell Banker
Burnett Realty: Rochester, MN |
 |
"We've found that the PWF is actually a premium benefit that makes the house
more valuable than a conventional home when it goes on the market." Dave
Hiniker, St. Croix Realty: Prescott, WI |
