Our Story

    Glenbrook Lumber was started in 1988 to supply service and quality building materials to professional builders in the Twin Cities and surrounding communities.  Gene Heger and Gary Mulcahy formed a partnership that grew along with the company.  From the beginning, the only focus has been developing relationships with these professional builders to provide their customers with a comforting, happy place to call home.  Gene's active participation in the day to day operation of the company has made this a reality.  The company is independent and small enough to respond to the  individual concerns of the customer.

    The best format for success is to always have quality people and products.  Glenbrook's sales people have the experience to offer helpful suggestions, make the projects turn out profitably and on time, and keep you coming back to work with a friend.  Our on-site customer service people deliver the products in a professional, courteous manner.  Yard support, accounting and everyone else respond to customer issues promptly and keep the builder in the loop.  You don't like surprises and neither do we.
